1. What is Supplier DB
Supplier DB is the list of every company you buy from. Each supplier has one record here, with its company details, addresses, contacts, bank accounts and regulatory documents. The Purchase section of the ERP uses these records.
The steps at a glance
A new supplier goes through these steps, in this order. Each step has its own section in this guide.
- Open Supplier DB from the left menu.
- Search to make sure the supplier is not already there.
- Click ADD SUPPLIER and fill in Company Name, Country and Currency.
- Click SAVE. The supplier starts as a Lead.
- Add the rest of the profile: Addresses, Contacts, Bank details and Regulatory documents. Each part has its own SAVE button.
- Check the STATUS and OWNER on the supplier's side panel.
- Change the status as the supplier moves forward, for example from Lead to Onboarding - In Progress.
- Go to Purchase to create orders, invoices and credit memos for the supplier.
